strongDM Appoints Former Palo Alto Networks Chief Cloud Officer, Tim Prendergast, to Senior Vice President, Sales
Burlingame, CA - November 2, 2021- strongDM, the infrastructure access platform, announced today that industry veteran Tim Prendergast had joined the company as Senior Vice President of Sales. Prendergast brings over twenty years experience in cloud and security leadership across several industries, most recently at Palo Alto Networks. He will be responsible for scaling strongDM’s sales team to meet heightened market demand.

Prendergast joins strongDM with cloud, networking and security leadership experience across multiple companies, including Ingenuity, Ticketmaster, and McAfee. Prendergast led Adobe's cloud architecture team through their pivotal transition nearly a decade ago. He then founded Evident.io, where he leveraged his experience in building and operating cloud infrastructure at scale to modernize security for the cloud era. After he sold Evident.io to Palo Alto Networks, Prendergast was appointed to be their Chief Cloud Officer, making him the first to hold this position in a Fortune 1000 company. As a member of their C-suite, Prendergast defined the future of security.
